I'm lovin' and hatin' post college life.

I miss hanging out with my loves pretty much whenever I want.
I miss skipping class.
I miss "studying at Club H."
I love that I don't have homework anymore. Everything's open book!
I like my job and I love being on salary (very bad for my addiction.. shopping ).
I hate paying ALL the bills.
I love the people I work with.
I love the free time.
I hate that I don't have summer breaks anymore.
I love the added independence (like I need more of that ).

I hate that I'm getting old.

I want a puppy!!!!

... and I want to live in that bed!

Life is full of disaapointments.

Yesterday at work they had these fried wontons for everyone. I was pretty excited because they looked like those really good cheese filled wontons that I love. I took my first bite and.... it wasn't sweet.  It wasn't even cheese.

So, lesson learned. I shouldn't expect too much and hope that I will always get what I want. Just because you see something doesn't mean it's what you think it is. "What you see is what you get" does not always apply. Too much hoping can just lead to bigger disappontments. It sucks to be overly excited about something and then find out in the end that it wasn't what you were expecting or have been dreaming about. Hope can be a bad thing sometimes. But then again without it there's little to look forward to.
